I looked out the kitchen window a few days ago and saw that the once dormant vines that grows along our fence had produced a number of bright green buds signaling the coming of spring. Melisse and I later witnessed tulips poking up through the ground near one of the trails that we run on in the park. Today the temperatures are mild, the sun is shining and the days are getting longer. If this isn’t spring in London, I have to believe that it is right around the corner.
With spring comes all of the opportunity of the new year and this year looks good so far. I continue to enjoy my job and Melisse is rapidly progressing as an artist. We are making plans to visit more places in Europe and in spite of the dismal economy, business seems to be holding up (knock on wood). We definitely miss all of our friends and family back home and long for the sunshine and mountains of Colorado. Putting those things aside, moving to London continues to be a decision that we are very happy with.
