Boulder to London

I’m about to head off to my second of a 2-weekend long course on sailing.  As usual, I did minimal research before signing up and later realised that I should have done a shore based course prior to the practical course to cover a few things that will eventually be important (navigation, tidal calculations, etc).  The good news is that none of it looks that difficult and I think I can pick up what I need to know if I just go last in each of the exercises. I’ll let you know when I return on Monday (3 day bank holiday weekend) how the strategy works out and try to give a more thorough recap of the experience.

The weather around here has been gorgeous and I’m starting to get in the mood for summer.  Beers outside, bbq’s, maybe some time at the beach…it all sounds good and I look forward to everything summer has to offer.
