Today Melisse and I got up early (for a Saturday) to see her off to Mexico. She’s on a plane to Austin right now where she’ll meet up with her Uncle and Grandma before heading south to Puerto Vallarta to spend some time in the sun and surf. I must say, I’m a bit jealous (ok…maybe a lot) since it was cold and rainy here as we made our way out to Heathrow around 8AM. For me, I get a bachelor week here before heading back to the states to spend some time with family and friends. I’ll be in Colorado for a few days, followed by 3 days in Spokane and then back to London on Easter Day. I’m definitely ready for a vacation on the beach, but that’s going to have to wait a few months.

Melisse got to Austin at 7:30 p.m. CDT (30 minutes early; amazing for United Airlines) and we went to out to North in the Domain where we drank and ate until about 10:30, which was 3:30 a.m. by Melisse’s London clock. But, she was up by 7:30 Sunday morning. We’ll be delivering her to the airport this afternoon for her flight to NPV.
